Born

Kristen Born, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Tru Medical in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Kristen initially began her education at Bucknell University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
She then continued to Drexel University, where she obtained her Master of Health Sciences – Physician Assistant (PA). Throughout her career as a PA, Kristen has worked in pediatrics, internal medicine, and sexual and reproductive health. Kristen’s true passion is sexual and reproductive health, and she is thrilled to be working as a sexual and reproductive health/gynecology provider at Tru Medical.

Kristen is committed to providing high-quality, empathetic, patient-centered care. She believes that her relationships with her patients are as important as the evidence-based medicine she provides. She is excited to have the opportunity to provide inclusive care to all patients at Tru Medical. In addition to providing gynecology services, Kristen is excited to provide care to transgender and non binary patients. She has extensive experience prescribing gender affirming hormone therapy and managing all of the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ patients and is excited to expand access to this care at Tru Medical.
